New on the Shelf: SOC 2 Compliance and UNFI Depletions Forecasting

Fresh from Confido: We're building an enterprise-grade platform with top tier data security, AOP-focused features, and best-in-class forecasting models. Check it out!

🔒 Confido is Now SOC 2 Compliant

Trust and security have always been foundational to how we operate — and we’re proud to share that Confido has successfully completed our SOC 2 audit with Advantage Partners and Vanta.

This milestone reflects our commitment to building an enterprise-grade platform you can count on. SOC 2 compliance means a trusted third party has reviewed our systems and confirmed that we have the right processes in place to keep customer data safe and secure, both now and as we scale.

➡ Manage Team-Wide Scenario Planning with Assignments

You can now assign scenario-specific tasks directly within Account Planner, including creating a new Scenario, selecting a Primary Scenario from those already created, and preparing a Scenario to be converted into a Forecast. Tasks will default to the existing Account Owner, but can be reassigned as needed.

You’ll be able to track progress on these assignments from both the homepage and the Account Planner, giving you full visibility into scenario planning across your team.

📦 Accurately Forecast for UNFI “All Other” Retailers

Depletions-Based Forecasting now supports UNFI “All Other” retailers. By normalizing depletion data across long-tail retailers and calculating accurate, group-level velocity, you can now achieve greater forecast accuracy and plan for 100% of your retail accounts — not just the ones that report consumption.

ICYMI:
Easy AOP Planning: Scenarios 101

With Scenarios, you can now build complete account-level plans in just a few clicks. No more juggling bottoms-up builds, broken spreadsheets, or back-and-forth with third parties.

  • Quickly spin up scenarios: Enter base velocity growth percentages, opportunities, and promotion events — we’ll use your actuals, forecasts, and pricing data to automatically calculate impact.

  • 📊 See your metrics in one place: Revenue, Trade Spend, Trade Rate, and Net Sales are calculated automatically and rolled up by Product, Family, and Total Account for full visibility.

  • 🔍 Compare scenarios with ease: Benchmark multiple scenarios against each other — and against your current forecasts and targets — with real-time insights and rollups.

  • 👀 View rollups across all scenarios and select the best performing scenario to move forward with for each account.

We highly recommend this webinar for everyone: from new users who are getting started with Confido to platform administers who are looking to clean up their existing configurations.

🧪 Beta Testing is Open

We're constantly shipping new features at Confido and are looking for folks to test feature improvements before they're live on the platform. Here’s what we’re testing!

  1. Statistical Forecasting - Models include Moving Average, Markov Chain, SARIMA, and Holt-Winters

  2. Cannibalization - Adjust forecasts when new SKUs eat into existing velocity

  3. Equivalized Units - Manage eaches, units, and cases — including non-sellable units

  4. BOLs and Disputes - Pull in freight records for quicker disputing

  5. AOP - Build complete account-level plans in just a few clicks

🥕 That’s a Wrap — See You Next Week!

We know AOP is at the top of everyone’s mind, which is why we’re releasing new features weekly to support the process. With our latest Scenarios updates, teams can create account-level plans in minutes and compare them with real-time metrics. And now with the addition of Scenario Assignments, teams have full visibility into what’s done and what’s up next to plan.
