As you ramp up your Annual Operating Planning efforts, we’ve shipped new capabilities to Targets that make it easier to set top-down goals, tie them to forecasts, and report on progress. Dedicated finance and planning teams can quickly set their AOP goals within Confido and track their progress in detail.

  • Set company-level targets that roll up goals across the entire organization

  • Build targets based on forecasted net sales for quick alignment

  • Compare granular vs. rolled-up progress across Planning Groups, Ship-To, and Company views

ICYMI: Statistical Forecasting Meets Consumption Data

To help teams find consensus faster, we’ve embedded statistical forecasting models directly into Confido by pulling shipment data straight from your ERP. No guesswork, no manual uploads — just real-time, data-backed forecasts. Models include:

  • Moving Average: A simple way to forecast, easy to explain and sufficient for most use-cases

  • Markov Chain: Best used for sparse shipments (ie. the situations where there is a singular, large shipment at the beginning of the quarter)

  • SARIMA and Holt-Winters are both ways to model seasonality and trends

    1. Holt-Winters is best for simpler,short to medium-term forecasts where recent trends carry weight

    2. SARIMA is best for deeper seasonality and cyclical patterns

✨ UI Updates That Just Make Life Easier

 We made a few updates this week to make your workflows smoother:

  • Email documents are now auto-classified as checks or deductions

    • Checks follow the standard Cash App flow

    • Deductions are auto-created and linked to the appropriate remit

  • Trade calendar uploads now support Contract ID matching for easier syncing

  • Trade calendar downloads now include per unit and flat fee rates
