📦️ Demand Planning: Forecasting Strategies
Demand planners can now combine multiple forecast sources across their planning horizon, all in one place. With Forecast Strategies, you define which forecast method to use and when: trust your Sales Forecast for the near term, then automatically shift to a Statistical Forecast further out. No more manual stitching or single-method compromises.
Strategies are built around the way your team actually plans. Set a strategy once at the customer level and it flows down to every SKU automatically. Each strategy rolls forward week over week, so your cutover points always stay relative to today with no maintenance required. And when a planner needs to make a one-off call, row-level overrides let them do that without disrupting the broader strategy.

With Forecast Strategies, you can:
Mix and match forecast sources by time window — use Sales Forecast for weeks 1–4, an uploaded Customer Forecast for weeks 5–13, and Statistical Forecast for the remainder
Inherit strategies across your hierarchy — set it at the customer level and every SKU row beneath it is pre-populated automatically
Override without breaking anything — row-level changes take precedence over the inherited strategy and persist independently
It's the smarter way to build a forecast that reflects how your business actually works, and lays the foundation for even more advanced methods like ML forecasts and innovation planning down the road.
📈 Sales Forecasting: Account Planner Now Available for Forecasting Updates
Sales users now have a dedicated space to manage all forecasting adjustments in one place.
Navigate to your Sales Forecasting module and open the new Account Planner tab. From there, you can view forecasts by retailer, drill into individual product families, and update key inputs at the SKU level including store counts, seasonality, and more.
When you make a change, the platform automatically applies it across your forecast. No extra steps, no manual updates.
A cleaner, faster way to keep your sales forecasts accurate.
